Computer Coding.
The dynamics of computer technology is everchanging. The things that we learn today become old tomorrow. In this fast-changing technological world, computer coding is a new concept that has become trendy. To help children gain the knowledge of computer coding, the coding classes were organized by SVDD English Medium secondary section for interested teachers and students.
The training in coding was given by Orange Education Pvt. Ltd. by introducing coding classes with touch code, designed by Leap Learner. Teachers were given online training for the coding course wherein the topics like scratch, python (Pyleap) and artificial intelligence were covered. Online sessions for teachers were conducted during May – June 2022.
Children were given offline training for scratch and python (Pyleap) for creating games and animation. The touch code platform is open for students for the duration of one year. After completion of the course students will be awarded a certificate by icode.orange.

Sports
Children study because they have to, and play because they want to. Considering the importance of play in the life of students, SVDD has always been in the forefront to introduces something new to their students be it in activity or sports.
This year SVDD has arranged for, badminton, cricket and mallakhamb coaching for students. This coaching is taken up as after school activity and also as a part of summer camp.
Interested students are enrolled and expert coaches relevant to the field mentor students in these sports activities. The coaching is basically provided to help students gain tricks of trade, required discipline and mental and physical fitness.
